NVE Awards $10,000 Grant To New Milford

The New Milford Education Foundation is honored to be awarded a $10,000 grant from NVE Bank.  The Foundation is one of ten non-profit organizations throughout Bergen County that was fortunate enough to receive a portion of the $100,000 in grants that NVE gives out every year. 
 
The Grant funds are being given to support organizations that have experienced a significant decrease in revenue due to the Covid crisis.   The NMEF falls within this parameter due to the fact that we will not be able to host our Annual Gala this year which is our main source of fundraising.  The Grant funds are to be utilized for specific purposes such as but not limited to Covid 19 compliance efforts, purchasing and installing safety equipment, reconfiguring spaces, re-hiring employees and working capital needs.  The Foundation is looking forward to share where these much needed funds will be used in the near future.
